A Patient God

I was reading the book of Judges in The Bible, and I recognized a pattern.

Many times, when I read a book for the 2nd time, I noticed things that I had not seen the 1st time.

The first pattern I recognized was a Judge for Israel named Prophetess Deborah. While The Israelites were enslaved for 20 years, Prophetess Deborah was sent by God to prophesy to Israel.

I realized God will send a woman to prophesy to a nation.

She also assisted with Israel's deliverance from slavery.

And then there was Gideon. A man who assisted with Israel's deliverance from slavery of 7 years, after 40 years of freedom. But before the 7 years, they were enslaved for 20 years.

So; 20 years in slavery, then 40 years of freedom.

Then 7 years of slavery. In which Gideon delivered them out of. Then another 40 years of freedom.

It seemed the Israelites kept making the exact same mistake over and over again. Much like this current generation.

But Gideon was reserved about assisting in Israel's freedom. He kept asking for proof. He asked an Archangel for proof. And the Archangel performed a supernatural event.

Then Gideon asked God for proof, twice. And God was patient. And this is the pattern I recognized.

God is patient.

God obliged every request of Gideon's.

And God spoke to Gideon verbally. Gideon heard God's audible voice.

Another supernatural event noted in The Book of Judges.

The Israelites were happy about what Gideon had done, and asked him to be their king. Gideon told them, only God can be your King!

My Testimony belongs to God.

✝️ Only God can be King of a nation

✝️ God is patient, and merciful

✝️ God will send a woman to prophesy, Judge a nation, and teach His prophetic words

✝️ ONLY when a rebellious nation cries out to their King, will He answer and demonstrate His salvation

✝️ God can and will speak audibly

✝️ Supernatural events is one of many ways in which God speaks.

✝️ For those that God call His own, He doesn't like when they pridefully believe in their heart that they accomplished something on their own. Kinda like plagiarism.

When someone else created something, another person takes it and says, "I did it". In college students are taught to cite their work because nobody likes a thief. One must give credit to where credit is due.

I bless God for revealing another aspect of His character to me. It is a sign that He wanted to. It is a sign to me that He has chosen me to be one of His own.

I bless God for revealing to me that He speaks through signs, the prophetic word, the gospel, the supernatural, audibly, turmoil, and through Archangels.

To God, my King, belongs all glory and worship.
